Maria Montessori Central School is an auspicious endeavour established and managed by the Alleppey Educational Trust, Ambalapuzha. The institution began its journey on 18 th November 1995.  The foundation stone was laid by H. H. Uthradam Thirunal Marthanda Varma ( Maharaja of Travancore). The institution is ran by Universal Empire Group. The school was awarded with NAAC accreditation. The school has also received ISO certificate.

It is a Secondary School, affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE),New Delhi following the noble tradition of the English Public School System.The world famous Montessori System adopted by the Kerala  is followed in the Kinder Garten .The School follows the CBSE syllabus and has all facilities of modern education
